doors and life's opportunities

"Life is all about opening doors. Some people wait a lifetime just to wait for opportunities to come to them. I don't want to wait for that...I create my own opportunities"

This was the answer given by a very bewitching but weird lady who came up to Ed and gave him a french kiss for no apparent reason when he demanded that she explain why she did that. It turns out that it was part of her "to do list" for the day. Though what she did was something shocking, at least she was able to accomplish what has to be done.

While that move was something scary, revolutionary, and uncalled for, come to think of it, life is really about opening new doors and having fun, and finding what will really make you happy. We should never have reasons for making life miserable. I have always been in that dilemma. I am not easily content with just doing things right, I crave for passion and my heart has to be in what I do. There are several occasions where I catch myself doing things just because I'm already there or I'm just obliged to do it, but really at the end of the day, I think of quitting or I suffer deep inside for remaning in that pit.

We have our own aspirations in life and when opportunities come our way, we should not think twice on it. We can never tell when those elusive opportunities will knock our doors again. Never let great opportunities pass you by. However, when that time comes, save and cherish it. Life is so changing that you don't have the monopoly of luck and fortune. It will easily be taken away from you...when you least expect it. If it leaves you, you can still proudly say that at least you know the feeling of having something you'd die have and wished for all your life.

It may sound too much of a cliche, but really the all of us should work like we don't need the money. Love like we've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching. Sing like nobody's listening. Live like it's Heaven on Earth. Do the right thing no matter what.
